Review of the Vivien of Holloway 1950’s Halterneck Floral Noir Dress

This Vivien of Holloway dress retails at £89 from the website – Vivien of Holloway 1950’s Floral Noir Dress

This dress is simply gorgeous and has so many bright colours in it which means you can wear any of those colours in the accessories such as a green hair scarf or some lilac shoes.

I wear this dress with the purple frothy petticoat which I also got from VOH. The petticoat retails at £59.

The halterneck section of this dress also means you can wear this dress as a skirt by tucking the halterneck part down inside and securing at the back with a safety pin and covering up with a wide belt. This is a versatile way of utilising your wardrobe!

This dress has a boned bodice and a full circle skirt which gives you that “nipped in” waist effect. Wearing a wide belt also adds to this look.

The VOH size guide helps you to ensure you order the correct size as VOH sizes are not the same as the high street so you may find you may have to go up a size or two.

This dress is hand wash or dry clean only and is made from 50% polyester and 50% cotton.
